I take great pleasure in announcing the free entry programme for the 2017 concert season:

The leitmotif of the concerts this year is “Alessandro Stradella and surrounding”,

FIRST CONCERT 21 March 2017 at 9.00 p.m. (linked to REMA – Réseau Européen de Musique Ancienne)
Sacrestia bramantesca di Santa Maria delle Grazie, Via Caradosso, 1 – Milan.
Alessandro Stradella: concerted motets for two voices, with violins and basso continuo.
First performance in modern times. Collegium Vocale et Instrumentale «Nova Ars Cantandi» – Conductor: Giovanni ACCIAI.

Ensemble «Accademia del Ricercare» – Conductor: Pietro BUSCA.

Later this year, on the 18th of October (6.00 p.m.) there will be a conference at the Biblioteca Ambrosiana dedicated to Franchino Gaffurio, maestro of music theory and an excellent composer. This will be held at the foot of Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece, Il musico, which many believe to be a portrait of Franchino.
There will also be a concert dedicated to this master’s work, the details of which I will let you know as soom as possible.
